Hello there, and thanks for signing the petition to bring Lord Janner to trial. In case you haven't heard, there have been some developments. Today, Leicestershire Police formally wrote to the Director of Public Prosecutions (Alison Saunders) asking her to review the case. She has 14 days to reply and if she sticks to her original decision, the police say they may call for a judicial review. Meanwhile, an independent barrister has been called in to review Ms Saunders' decision and MPs have said they may demand she comes to a committee to explain her views as well.
