Dear friends,
As we head into winter the peak season for Meningitis B and approach the strict end-of-year deadline for the current youth vaccination scheme, our campaign for fair protection has reached a historic milestone.
Alfie’s Legacy is now supported by 95,273 incredible voices.
We are now less than 4,800 signatures away from hitting 100,000. In our country, 100,000 signatures is the powerful threshold that shows the government a movement is too big to be ignored.
We are fighting to end the "birthdate lottery" so that every single teenager receives a routine, evidence-based rollout through school nurses and GPs, rather than failing opt-in schemes. The latest clinical data proves that nearly three-quarters of our young adults remain entirely unprotected. Individual vaccination is a child's only line of defence.
I am asking every single person reading this today to do just one small thing for Alfie: forward our petition link directly to one friend, one family member, or one community group chat today.
If we all make this one final push together, we will cross the historic 100,000 threshold this week. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing beside me to ensure Alfie's name protects millions of children.
With love and gratitude,
Marrissa (Alfie’s Mum)
