Thanks to all of you for expressing your opinions and signing this petition. We’re 3 shy of 300 signatures. So, please share to your friends and family. They do not need to be a resident of Alexandria. 

Today, the Zebra Newspaper ran the petition with a story online and on their FB page. If you are on FB, please like the story. A number of proponents have been posting nasty things about the opposition. Racist, elitist, millennials, you name it. Please feel free to like our posts and chime in. We’re trying to keep it factual.
