Dear Supporter,

We have good news! Thanks to you, our petition asking Aldi to commit to phasing out gestation crates from its supply chain is gaining traction.

But we still need your help. Here’s how: The next time you visit your neighborhood Aldi, please talk to the store manager about the petition. Show it to him or her on your cell phone and explain that you care about how animals raised for food are treated.  Politely point out that almost every other major grocery store has committed to phasing out the use of gestation crates and you hope Aldi will do the same soon. Then, ask if they can find out for you if Aldi is going to address the issue. This might mean calling the corporate office on your behalf or bringing it up at the next managers’ meeting.  Be sure to get the name of the store manager so you can follow-up. 

As we continue our campaign, we promise to inform about the changes you are helping to make happen at Aldi.
