The day after the Alderman posted on his Facebook page that he would place a hold on the permit and call for a community meeting, the City of Chicago Department of Buildings approved permit 100681494. We remain hopeful that with massive community support against it the Alderman will join us and help preserve our health and property values. Unfortunately, the Alderman has remained silent regarding his position. We need to increase pressure on the Alderman to do the right thing and to hear the voices of his constituents. We have spoken. Has he heard? Let your voice be heard.
