Greetings everyone, and thank you for standing up for your own and everyone's well-being. This is what being part of a strong community is about, and I am so glad that we are so rich with such an active and caring collective of neighbors. Since we reached over 100 signatures, my wife and I met with the Alderman this afternoon, and presented the petition to him. He responded by offering to talk to the owner/operator of the SRO @1152 which is LUCHA. He seemed positive about our petition/action and our wishes being respected as he has contacts at LUCHA and seemed to expect that they would be receptive and responsive. The people have spoken. Hopefully our elected official(s) will listen. If we do not get the response we hope for I will be presenting the petition to the Mayor's office, but I remain hopeful that our Alderman will stand up for what is right, and help us stop (actually relocate) the installation of the cellular tower.
