Why does the current ZONING need to be changed?

There is no benefit to the community in changing the zoning or to allow for variances. The proposed change in zoning would result in increased height (from 70 feet to 100 feet) and density. In addition, the change in zoning would result in a development that does not match the scale of the Sedgwick corridor. The local community sees no reason to allow a developer to gain an exception.
