We've surpassed 14 thousand signatures - thank you to everyone from Alaska and around the world for their support! 

On Monday morning, volunteers in both Juneau and Wasilla distributed copies of the petition to legislators. Video footage of the petition delivery should be available soon and we'll make sure to post it as soon as it has been made available online. Some legislators were difficult to track down than others, but student activists on the ground are working hard to make sure every legislator is confronted with a copy of the petition. 

The special session vote to override the veto has been scheduled for Wednesday starting at 11:30am. It seems like some legislators and the governor are trying to lay low and avoid talking to the public and the media, but volunteers on the ground are doing their best to deliver the petition to those who are still silent about their position on overriding the veto.
