10 thousand supporters in just four days - what a feat!

Thank you to all of you for spreading the word about the need to save the University of Alaska system from catastrophic budget cuts! It's been incredible to see the outpouring of support not only from members of the community, but people who care about the future of education from around the world. 

Governor Dunleavy may have thought he could quietly dismantle Alaska's public education system, but Alaskans are making sure their voices are heard across the country. 

Time is running out quickly, so it's important to continue collecting as many signatures as possible before the Legislature's special session begins on July 8th.

Several Republican Alaska State Senators and Representatives have spoken out in support of overriding the Governor's vetoes in response to pressure from their constituents. This goes to show just how crucial it is to maintain pressure on Alaska's legislators in these pivotal last couple of days. 

A special thank you goes out to everyone who shared their stories about how these budget cuts will affect them and their loved ones. Let's make sure these stories are shared with the Governor and the Legislature.
