As well as being a beautiful place to live, sadly Crow Canyon Rd is one of the deadliest roads in the whole of Alameda County with three fatalities in the last 12 months according to CHP.

There have been multiple unsuccessful attempts to try to get the Alameda County Public Works Agency to address the perennial speeding problem and it is time for us to try again before we have yet another fatality.

Alameda County Public Works Agency are well aware of the problem and yet they have systematically failed to make any meaningful changes to address this serious safety problem.

We need the local community to get involved and collect as many signatures as possible to get the issue on the radar of the CV Municipal Advisory Council. 

This petition calls for the Alameda County Public Works Department to immediately initiate action to reduce the speed limit and introduce traffic calming measures along the whole of Crow Canyon Road.
