Lynn Greer sponsored this bill and Phillip Pettus supported it.  It is now in the Senate for consideration.  According to Greer, "(Nets) get rid of the trash fish."  Also to the Department of Conservation,  shame on your for not taking a stand. We all know that there is no way Game and Fish will be able to monitor this as needed if this bill is passed.   It has been between 5 and 10 years since I last had my fishing license checked on Pickwick or Wilson.  Attached is a picture of a Gill Net found recently on Pickwick.  Numerous dead Bass were found in a gill net.  This is to important for us not to take a stand.  Please show your support by signing this petition against Gill Nets
