On December 1, 1997 Eleanor Louise Martin was fatally shot in her home at 3928 Fairmont Place in Birmingham, Alabama. It was in a violent  and senseless drive by shooting, where Derrick K. Wallace drove the vehicle used to carryout this horrible assassination of our beloved Eleanor Louise Martin.

This petition is on behalf of Mrs. Martin. Her family, friends, and community protest the release of this murderer, Derrick K. Wallace. Mr. Wallace lacks the moral candor to be released. He has never apologized for his role in the death of our loved one. Not only did he drive the vehicle and was heartless enough to circle the block after he and his accomplice Demetrius Berry carried out this heinous act.

We have been sentenced to 'Life Without' Eleanor Louise Martin and feel like anyone who contributed to her death should remain incarcerated.
