Final School Board Meeting before the end of school.

Tomorrow, Wednesday the 8th is the final OCDE School Board Meeting. It may be our last chance to bring this issue before the Administrators. I and several other parents will be attending. It starts at 9 and is an all day thing but it won't be until 12:00 that the public will be able to give comments.

You have to put your name down on a little piece of paper. These are located on a table on the right side at the back of the room. The location is the OCDE office:

   200 Kalmus Dr, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.

At the last meeting certain members of the board seemed sympathetic to our needs. I also spoke to the the Superintendent, so I believe it can do a lot of good to be there. I will be letting them know about the success we had at the Imaginology event and letting them know that CHEP can grow if we just get the word out. But not so much if we close the sites that have the greatest potential to grow.

If you want to come and speak then it would be good to share your experiences with CHEP and how closing the West or North sites will affect your child's education. A few CHEP Kids are planning to speak as well. You only have three minutes to talk though so be prepared.
