As you may know, there are 400,000 people in the UK with type 1 diabetes and we are pleased JDRF have posted this article as we hit peak travel season!
For those who wear insulin pumps - please read, share and be aware that when travelling you should carry a letter from your medical team on official letterhead, recently dated, explaining that you wear an insulin pump and must avoid going through electrical equipment including x-ray machines and full-body airport scanners.
