James ( Woody) Wood posted about the abysmal experience of the lack of care by Qantas for his wheelchair today . He wrote “…How would you like it if I treated your ONLY way to get around like this? This is a custom made wheelchair that is built just for me, my height, weight and size..... It's not like I can just pop into a shop and grab a new one if you damage it! So how about you train your staff to treat it with a little more care and respect!

I use the pushrims on my chair hundreds, maybe thousands of times a day, so when your people lie it on its side like this it scratches the rims which then scratch my hands.

This is a $10,000 piece of equipment!..... but worth much more than that to me and other wheelchair users.“
