Teachers and staff at Parkside Middle School in Prince William County are overusing Artificial Intelligence.  Admin instructed the teachers and staff use AI to make themselves look like avatars for their photo on the “Meet the Staff!” poster outside their classrooms. Admin makes attendance rewards, spirit weeks, CritterCoin, and other posters around the school with AI assistance. There are many other alternative platforms to use such as Canva and Adobe Express. This is ruining the creativity from students who actually have the passion and resilience to pursue the fine arts. There are willing students at Parkside Middle that would love to help create posters instead of having artificial intelligence use fresh water for data centers and increase our global environmental footprint.
