International Calls Growing to Stop Ai Harm to Society
There are thankfully a few of those in the Ai industry (Rumman Chowdhury, Timnit Gebru, Safiya Noble, Seeta Peña Gangadharan, Joy Buolamwini , Geoffrey Hinton "Ai godfather" to name a few) who have publicly expressed concerns regarding Ai technology years ago. Finally, their warnings to the public about Ai harm and risks have been joined worldwide by owners, distributors, and more of those engaged with Ai technology development. Speaking out about the danger to humans by Ai technology. Even the CEO’ of the largest Ai development companies have stated publicly their fears and concerns over the catastrophic damage to human existence that could be quickly achieved by their Ai technology. This technology should never have been unleashed into society before more safeguards, regulations and other protections were put in place against the dangers to society it poses. Finally, worldwide, more of those engaged directly with the development of this technology are alerting the public about the dangers of Ai technology and moving toward worldwide regulation of Ai technology.
As you know worldwide attention, cooperation, and collective efforts to address “Ai Harm” is what this petition is advocating for!
