Senator Donzella James represents Senate District 35 where Walden Park resides. According to the legislation, “The committee shall undertake a study of the conditions, needs, issues, and problems mentioned above or related thereto and recommend any action or legislation which the committee deems necessary or appropriate.”

This study is timely based on the board unanimous decision to submit Walden Park as a POA. The board’s decision is voluntary and many residents are against the POA. In the event the committee adopts any specific findings or recommendations that include suggestions for proposed legislation, would it be wise for the Walden Park Board of Directors to at least wait for the finding of this study committee before converting our community to a POA?
