Dear supporters, 

Thank you for helping me grow my family's petition to nearly 25,000 supporters - we are very grateful for this. 

With nearly 1 year of passing of us having applied for Ministerial intervention, we have not received any updates from the minister's office. This situation is causing a great deal of stress in my family with having to wait every single day hoping to get some sort of update from the minister's office. Seeing other similar campaigns every single day and getting an update or outcome from the minister's office is breaking our hope every day. 

The visa situation along with my nan overseas who my mother hasn't seen for the last 7 years having been diagnosed with cancer is very stressful and heartbreaking. She is not coping well with chemotherapy and has no family of her own to help her through such a difficult stage in her life. 

Due to the current restrictions in place, my family is not allowed to travel overseas and this is making every single day very difficult for us to fight against.
