Hi everyone,
Thank you to each one of you for your tremendous support by sending email to MP's office and Immigration Ministers Office. We have been contacted by our federal MPs office and would like to thank each and everyone of you. The contact from MPs office has given us as a family a new hope and we would like to thank you all for your ongoing support and we will keep everyone posted of further developments in our case!
Following are the key developments in our case-
1) Due to your support, I have been contacted by local MPs office who will be in touch with us over the next coming weeks!
2) I have received the delight of being invited for permanent residency as a skilled nurse, however I'm only 20 years of age, an aspirant full time university student, emotionally and financially dependant on my parents- without my parents in this country, it will be very hard me to survive.
3) According to a registered migration agent, the permanent parent visa options for my parents after my PR grant are expensive and currently take over 12 years of processing (143 visa). My parents have been key skilled workers since 2015 and are still key skilled workers currently working do 2 jobs in regional Australia regardless of their age. They don't deserve to be going through another long process and deserve a pathway to permanent residency according to their skills and contributions they've made to the country they considered home for last 8 years despite of the exploitation they faced.
3) So now, we are not only petitioning our case about the exploitation that my parents have gone through but also for the government to not break our family apart by taking my parents away from me.
It has been enough time, and now after the suffering of 8 years, my parents deserve permanent residency on the basis of their skills and not any other dependant visas!!
Please continue sharing our petition- we will keep everyone posted for further developments. Thankyou once again, this wouldn't of been possible without you!
