Con questa petizione, vogliamo raccogliere firme che possano convincere la compagnia aerea Aegean Airlines ad aprire una nuova tratta Milano Malpensa - Ioannina come volo diretto.

Attualmente per compiere questa tratta si deve prendere un primo volo da 2.30h per Atene, fare uno scalo di 5-6 ore e prendere un secondo volo della durata di 1h.

Già dal 2020, in parte complice la pandemia, purtroppo il secondo volo viene offerto con sempre minore frequenza e in orari che non permettono più una comoda coincidenza.

L'avere un volo diretto tra queste due città consentirebbe di:

• rafforzare i rapporti commerciali esistenti e consentire lo sviluppo di nuovo business
• migliorerebbe i contatti tra le università Lombarde e quelle dell'Epiro, valorizzando ulteriormente le università creando un hub a livello europeo per le future figure professionali e per i ricercatori
• migliorerebbe la qualità della vita dei numerosi studenti/docenti/etc che fanno la spola tra queste due nazioni
• favorirebbe il turismo verso una parte della Grecia che ultimamente ha visto aumentare il numero di turisti su zone che altrimenti risultano difficili da raggiungere (doppio volo, traghetto, etc)
• la riduzione del tempo di viaggio dalle 8-9 ore attuali con un volo che in 2,30h circa collegherebbe le due città

With this petition, we want to collect signatures that can convince Aegean Airlines to open a new Milan Malpensa - Ioannina route as a direct flight.

Currently, to make this route you have to take a first flight of 2.30h to Athens, make a stopover of 5-6 hours and take a second flight lasting 1h.

Already from 2020, partly due to the pandemic, unfortunately the second flight is offered with less and less frequency and at times that no longer allow a comfortable connection.

Having a direct flight between these two cities would allow you to:

• strengthen existing commercial relationships and allow the development of new business
• it would improve contacts between the Lombard universities and those of Epirus, further enhancing the universities by creating a hub at European level for future professionals and researchers
• it would improve the quality of life of the many students / teachers / etc who commute between these two countries
• would favor tourism to a part of Greece that has recently seen an increase in the number of tourists in areas that are otherwise difficult to reach (double flight, ferry, etc.)
• the reduction of travel time from the current 8-9 hours with a flight that would connect the two cities in about 2.30 hours
