Advocating for Andre' to make stricter punishment for underage animal abuse!
The Issue
On June 26, 2022 I got the most disturbing videos from a concerned citizen who had happened upon a group of underage children brutally kicking an innocent puppy. A puppy we later named Andre suffered immensely at the hands of these young children. He was rushed to Trail Ridge Veterinary Services in Hoboke GA where life saving measures were taken to save his life. He was badly beaten and swollen, in shock and unable to move on his own. He was stabilized to give his tiny body time to heal before giving a blood transfusion the following morning. He received his transfusion and then over the next few hours declined and passed away. All efforts to save this tiny puppy had failed. His little body had been so brutally beaten that no medical means could right their wrongs. Poor Andre died on June 27th 2022 at just 10 weeks of age. Riddled with parasites, fleas and then beaten to death, all in 10 short weeks on this earth. 10 weeks and he was shown the worst humanity has to offer. And on top of it all, by children, who are supposed to be taught to value life not take it away. This puppy did not even belong to them, they took it upon themselves to take away somethings life, a life that was not theirs to make that decision for.
What happened so bad, or so wrong to these children to do such a horrific act.
I ask you to sign this petition for multiple reasons.
- Justice for Andre' and others who suffer at the hands of not only children but adults in Georgia and other rural areas. Areas where these things are all too often shrugged off because it happens so much it's become the norm!
- What is going on behind the scenes in these children's home to make them think that this is acceptable. Do these children need saved, like Andre needed saved!
- Bring awareness that communities and citizens are no longer going to sit back and allow this to happen.
We are going to be a voice for the voiceless and spread awareness about animal abuse until this is no longer the norm!
