Congressman Aaron Bean Recognizes Pedal for Impact in Congress

Pedal for Impact has now received official congressional recognition.

Yesterday, Congressman Aaron Bean spoke on the House floor and recognized both my husband Casey and me, along with Veteran Cancer Network and our upcoming Pedal for Impact ride from Florida to Washington, D.C.

For our family, this mission is deeply personal. Casey is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and cancer survivor, and Veteran Cancer Network was founded because we know too many veterans are facing serious cancer concerns without enough awareness around earlier detection, military exposures, and symptom recognition.

This summer, we are still riding — from Green Cove Springs to Washington — because this issue deserves more attention, more urgency, and more honest conversation.
