Advocate for Protection & Honorary Citizenship for Undocumented Immigrants in Northwest AR

The Issue

As a devoted person to my community, I have seen firsthand the dedication, hard work, and old-fashioned values that many of our undocumented immigrants embody. They work tirelessly, not only for their families but also for their neighbors and community at large. They work hard labor jobs, such as erecting buildings and poultry jobs—doing jobs no one else is willing to do. It’s because of them, that our community and country have enjoyed cheap labor and lower food costs.

In Rogers, Springdale, & Fayetteville Arkansas, many undocumented immigrants have been contributing to this significant yet underappreciated part of our economy for years. One in every seven workers in Arkansas is an immigrant, while one in eight residents is a native-born U.S. citizen with at least one immigrant parent (American Immigration Council, 2017).

This petition seeks to give these unsung heroes their much-deserved recognition. We are advocating for our local and national governments to not only protect our undocumented immigrants but also grant them honorary citizenship. Their invaluable contributions to our communities and economies should offer them nothing less. They have earned our love, support, and respect.

Please show your support by signing this petition. Your signature will make a world of a difference in their lives and the lives of all those who benefit from their incredible work ethic and determination. Sign this petition and stand with our undocumented immigrants in Northwest Arkansas.
