Dear Supporters,

Wow! We’re thrilled to announce that we have reached 834 signatures on our petition advocating for better access to menstrual products in public schools across Kaduna! Your unwavering support is creating a wave of change, and we’re incredibly grateful. This journey is about more than just signatures—it’s about giving girls the opportunity to thrive in school without the barriers caused by menstrual inequity.

Here’s What We’ve Achieved Together So Far:

834 signatures and counting!

  1. Conducted four impactful outreach visits to public schools in Kaduna, including a recent visit to Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) Kawo on October 24, 2024. During this visit, we engaged in open discussions with students to understand the challenges they face in accessing menstrual products. A detailed research survey highlighted critical gaps that we’re working to address.
  2. Held meaningful discussions with educators, parents, and community organizations to rally more advocates for the cause.
  3. Initiated contact with policymakers and decision-makers, paving the way for broader systemic change.

What’s Next?

  1. Securing a meeting with the Kaduna Ministry of Education to present this petition and discuss actionable solutions.
  2. Expanding our data collection from more schools to understand the wider impact of menstrual product accessibility on attendance and academic performance.
  3. Rolling out a broader awareness campaign to educate students and school administrators on menstrual hygiene and its vital role in achieving gender equity in education.

Your voice has been instrumental in every step we’ve taken. This isn’t just our cause—it’s yours too. By signing, sharing, and advocating, you’re helping us ensure that no girl in Kaduna is left behind due to lack of menstrual resources.

Let’s keep the momentum going!
Share the petition with friends, family, and across your networks. Together, we can create the change we want to see and make menstrual equity a reality for all girls in Kaduna.

Thank you for standing with us and being champions for change.

With gratitude,
