Dear Supporters,

Thank you for your continued support in advocating for better access to menstrual products in public schools across Kaduna. Together, we are making a real difference!

We’ve now gathered 755 signatures and the momentum is growing. Your voices are helping to drive important conversations about the barriers girls face due to a lack of menstrual products and how it impacts their education.

What’s Happened So Far:

- Over 755 signatures in support of the cause.
- Completed four outreach visits to public schools in Kaduna, including Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) Kawo on the 24th of October 2024, where we engaged students in open discussions to better understand the gaps in menstrual product accessibility. A comprehensive research survey also helped us identify these gaps.
- Meaningful conversations with educators, parents, and local organizations.
- Initial outreach to policymakers and key decision-makers is underway.

Next Steps:

- We are working to secure a meeting with the Kaduna Ministry of Education to present the petition and discuss potential solutions.
- We will continue gathering data from more schools to further understand how menstrual product access affects students' attendance and participation.
- Our awareness campaign will expand to educate students and school administrators on menstrual hygiene and its importance for achieving gender equity in education.

Your involvement has been crucial in achieving these milestones. This multi-step advocacy initiative wouldn’t have been possible without your help. Please continue to share the petition, and encourage others to add their voices. Together, we can ensure no girl in Kaduna is left behind.

Thank you once again for standing with us. Change is happening, and it’s all thanks to your support!

Sincerely,
Fatima Hussaini
