Advocate for Healthier Tour Schedules for Twice

Advocate for Healthier Tour Schedules for Twice

The Issue

I had the wonderful opportunity to see Twice perform on April 10th, 2026. By the time they got to this date, two of the members were no longer able to participate in the shows and were on long-term breaks from the tour. While the members that were still active for the tour did an excellent job performing, I can only imagine how exhausted they must be.

The "This Is For" tour involved approximately 80 dates within an 11-month period, with little to no time for breaks or recovery between cities. This grueling schedule stands as a clear example of how artists' health and well-being can be compromised for the sake of fulfilling intense tour commitments. Such demanding itineraries can lead to burnout, injuries, and long-lasting health impacts, which are evidently damaging not only for the artists but also for the fans who cherish their idols' well-being.

JYPE (JYP Entertainment) must acknowledge the physical and mental toll such tour schedules can have on Twice and all of their artists. It's imperative that they consider introducing more sustainable and healthier practices when planning future tours. This could involve reducing the number of back-to-back shows, allowing greater rest intervals between performances, and ensuring artists have adequate time to recuperate, both physically and mentally.

By signing this petition, you can help urge JYPE to commit to more responsible and compassionate tour scheduling. Our artists deserve to flourish in their careers without sacrificing their health. Let's stand together to support Twice and encourage JYPE to prioritize the health and well-being of their artists. Please sign this petition to show your support for healthier tour schedules for Twice!
