Advocate for Global Recognition of Disabled Teens

The Issue

My name is Aaron Rhena, who has experienced various challenges owing to my disability. Despite these obstacles, I remain resolute in my pursuit of becoming an actor, and my passion to dispel the misconceptions and stigmas surrounding people with disabilities has become more profound. By sharing my personal experiences and exhibiting my talent, I hope to inspire others to pursue their aspirations fearlessly, regardless of the challenges they may encounter.

I believe that by using my experiences to educate others about disability, I can help dispel the myths and stigmas that are often associated with people who have disabilities. Furthermore, my advocacy for disabled individuals can help create a more inclusive society that recognizes the worth and contributions of all people, regardless of their physical or mental abilities.

I enrolled in a theater class, which proved to be an excellent decision as it helped me improve my acting skills and unleash my creativity. My passion for learning was not limited to the arts, and I was equally committed to math, history, and science, which laid a solid foundation in these subjects. Presently, I'm pursuing a Computer Science degree, which has given me advanced technical skills and knowledge.

As a child, I was always eager to learn more and push myself to new heights. That's why I was thrilled to take 3rd-grade math while still in 2nd grade, followed by 4th-grade math in 3rd grade, and finally 5th-grade math in 4th grade. Although this may seem impossible to some, including those with disabilities, it was a breeze for me.

I'm a kind, compassionate person who values treating everyone with respect and empathy. Particularly, I make sure to show utmost respect and kindness towards girls. My determination and persistence have helped me overcome many hurdles, and I never give up easily. I believe that disabilities can lead to unique abilities, making individuals accomplish things that others might find impossible.

As a disabled person, I have an extensive knowledge of the world, games, and family. I'm confident in my abilities and dare to prove any naysayers wrong. I believe in myself and my capabilities, and I know that something inside me is more substantial than any obstacle. I'm determined to work hard and persevere until I achieve my goals, for I believe that with hard work and perseverance, anyone can achieve great things.

In conclusion, my passion for acting and my desire to advocate for disabled individuals have become the driving force in my life. Through my experiences, I hope to inspire and educate others about the potential of disabled individuals and to help create a more accepting and inclusive society.

I turn to my faith whenever I need help, seek a meaningful conversation, or simply want to connect with someone. My belief in God serves as the guiding force in my life, consistently making every experience better than expected. Despite not having met God in a tangible form, I feel the impact of being a good person and am filled with gratitude. I deeply honor and appreciate God's love, and I credit it for being where I am today. Thank you to the divine power 🙏🏼. Jai Shree Ram 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼.

I am a 19-year-old teen with disabilities. I do not see my conditions as a set-back, but rather as a unique potential to inspire the world. I want to share my personal story and advocate for change so that my voice and the voices of others in my situation are heard globally. I believe this not only brings visibility to the many talents and capacities of disabled teens, but also challenges societal conceptions of disability. According to the World Bank, one billion people, or 15% of the world's population, experience some form of disability. These voices must be recognized and heard. I want to redefine disability as a positive, inspiring aspect of individual uniqueness. By supporting this petition, you are helping shed light on the talents, dreams, and capabilities of disabled individuals worldwide.
