Advocate for Equal Acceptance and Respect of 'Hip' Children in Schools

Advocate for Equal Acceptance and Respect of 'Hip' Children in Schools
The Issue
I am reminiscing my seventh-grade self, confidently identifying as a 'hip', adorned in baggy pants, hip sunglasses, gold chains, and a slightly tilted hat - that was who I was. However, societal pressure and bullying for my appearance and my use of 'groovy' instead of the common 'cool' terminology forced me to replace my unique identity with a conformist one.
Today, I am reaching out to you with this petition, not just for me, but for every child out there who identifies as 'hip', to raise awareness about their plight. We are now facing a societal shift where the 'cool' children dominate and the hip ones are visibly dwindling into a sadly challenged minority.
Research conducted by the American Psychological Association suggests that bullying at a young age can have significant impacts on mental health in adulthood. The risk increases when the bullying is due to distinct, personal identity traits. The hip children should not be forced to fade away under these circumstances.
By signing this i-petition, we demand that schools and educational authorities worldwide implement robust anti-bullying policies to shield our hip children from harassment. Our endeavor is to affirm the importance of inclusivity and individualism in personality development. Let us empower our hipsters to grow freely into the strong, useful contributors to society they are meant to be, cherishing their beautiful idiosyncrasies in the process.
Act now, sign this petition and uplift those who express themselves differently. Your signature could strengthen a hip child's confidence and shine a light on the importance of maintaining varied identities within our youthful society. Let us embrace the variety that cultivates a diverse, thriving society. Sign this petition to make a difference today!
