UPDATE #2: 988 Signage Installed

UPDATE #2: We are grateful to see the IDOT taking measures to improve safety on the I-74 Bridge by installing 988 Suicide Hotline Signage. These actions reflect the importance of recognizing our shared responsibility to protect lives and support those who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.

While this is an encouraging step, we know there is much more work to be done. We will continue advocating for additional safety measures and collaborating with community partners to create a bridge and a community that offers hope, connection, and protection.

Thank you to everyone who has raised your voice, signed the petition, shared your story, and supported this effort. This is NOT done yet, but every single effort has a potential to save a life. Let’s keep working together to drive change. This is a great start.
