I've lived in Jackson Township for many years, and I have watched council members grow more comfortable in their positions while the needs of our community go unaddressed. It's disheartening to feel like our voices are getting lost in the corridors of familiarity and complacency. When council seats turn into lifetime appointments, the very essence of democracy—fresh ideas, transparency, and accountability—dwindles away. 

Entrenched politicians tend to no longer care about their constituents, which is why I'm urging for the adoption of term limits for our Township Council members.
