Petition updateAdopt Owain's Law for Brain Tumour Tissue Storage

Before the Budget, could you help me ask MPs to act on brain cancer?

Click here to ask your MP to help end the brain cancer postcode lottery. It takes just a minute, and your message could help secure vital NHS funding in the upcoming Budget.

With the Chancellor's Budget approaching, we have a real opportunity to make progress on something I've been fighting for since losing Owain.

Too many brain cancer patients are missing out on potentially life-extending treatments and clinical trials simply because their hospitals don't have the facilities to freeze and preserve tumour tissue. A relatively small investment of up to £1 million could help address this postcode lottery across the NHS.

The Government has already identified gaps in freezer capacity. Now we need MPs to ask Ministers what they're doing to fix them, and whether funding will be made available.

I'm so grateful to everyone who has signed my petition and supported me so far. I know I've asked for your help before, and I never take that support for granted.

Please click here to ask your MP to raise this in Parliament – it only takes a minute, and there's a suggested message you can read and personalise before sending.

Thank you, as always, for standing with me and helping give other families the opportunities Owain should have had.

With love and thanks,

Ellie
