I am just one among hundreds of thousands of online sellers on Shopee who has faced significant financial strain due to the recent changes in Shopee's policies. Over the last 12 months, Shopee has increased their charges three times, reaching a staggering 20%. This steep increase in fees is unsustainable for many of us who rely on this platform to earn a living. It is not just me; this is happening to countless sellers globally as Shopee extends operations overseas.

In addition to the exorbitant fees, Shopee has also increased payment delays to sellers, which severely affects our cash flow and financial planning. The introduction of "quickfunds" adds another layer of frustration, offering expedited payments at a predatory discount, further cutting into our already thin profit margins.

Moreover, Shopee has been ignoring numerous complaints regarding fraudulent return refund orders. Scam buyers exploit this system, and sellers like us are unjustly charged fees for products that are returned tampered with or stolen. This negligence towards genuine seller concerns is completely unacceptable.

Further exacerbating our plight, Shopee already imposes a service fee, but has now introduced an additional processing fee for the exact same service. This double-dipping into our earnings is unfair and burdensome, and we demand transparency and fairness in the fees charged.

And even recently they have turned off comments on their facebook media page after sellers began sharing their negative experiences with the platform on their posts. This is CENSORSHIP!

These issues reflect a concerning trend in Shopee's business ethics, where profit is prioritized over the welfare of those who fuel their platform with hard work and dedication.
