In Douglas County, Nebraska, the justice system has betrayed my elderly mother, and many others. We are witnessing judicial corruption that is not only shocking but deeply personal. My story involves a guardian and conservatorship case that has been tainted by unethical practices, improper rulings, attorney impropriety, collusion and deliberate bias. Despite continuing for over five years, this corruption remains unchecked, leading to significant injustice and financial exploitation.

My tale is not isolated; it is emblematic of systemic failures within the judicial arena of Douglas County. Attorneys have gained hundreds of thousands of dollars at the expense of justice. These legal practitioners, along with a biased judge, have impacted my life and my family. A guardian ad litem appointed by the judge has also been limited to doing his appropriate role of seeing to the words needs and investigating prior abuses, we believe, in order to cover up wrongdoings by the judge in making decisions that were inaccurate. Wrongful actions I reported as a whistleblower, reporting medical neglect and financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult, and now Ward of the State, have gone unaddressed, as their cases are conspicuously absent from the prosecutor's consideration. This neglect is a profound breach of justice and accountability.

Judicial corruption in Douglas County is harming not only those directly involved but the integrity of our entire legal system. No citizen should endure the pain and loss caused by a system meant to protect them. We must demand transparency, fairness, and ethical practices in our courts.
