On Monday, Daniel & Julie were featured on Spark TV, a national news station in Kampala!  In their interview, they talked about their experiences as acid attack survivors, including how their perpetrators were not charged for their attacks.  We've been promised a link to the full interview and will send it as soon as it is published.  Spark TV was so impressed with Julie & Daniel that they have invited them for another interview next week!  This is excellent exposure and will help bring awareness on the need for a law.

The research (interviews of acid attack survivors in Uganda) has been moving along well!  We are excited for Julie & Daniel to travel to additional districts in the coming days, where they will interview more survivors.  

Daniel also let us know that Faith will be returning to Mulago Hospital next week so the surgeons there can evaluate her readiness for the next set of surgeries they want to perform.  We are so grateful to everyone who has been part of Faith's journey and look forward to sending updates as she arrives in Kampala.
