Thanks to your donations, we're making even more progress in reaching survivors throughout Uganda! Julie & Daniel did a radio interview this morning in Kamuli district, and spent the afternoon responding to calls from survivors wanting to be interviewed for the project.
This is hard work, and we are so grateful to Julie and Daniel for the efforts they are making to ensure the success of the research. (This is all in preparation of our report for the Ugandan Parliament about the prevalence of acid attacks in Uganda and the needs that survivors face after their attack.) Julie & Daniel are away from their homes and families for many days in a row, going on radio and tv programs, jumping on scooters, heading into villages, and interviewing survivors in very desperate situations.
