Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Faith in her journey!  If you remember, Faith was one of the survivors whom our Ugandan team met when doing data collection and interviews on the incidence of acid violence in Uganda.  She had been badly disfigured from her attack.  Thanks to your donations, we were able to help Faith travel from her home village to Kampala (the capital of Uganda) to receive surgery to release the contracture on her neck and additional surgeries to reconstruct eyelids.  

Faith will continue recovering outside of the hospital for approximately two weeks and will then be brought back to re-do the left eyelid, because the original reconstruction did not hold.  Watch the video update here.
