Add the Word 'Gooder' to the Webster Dictionary

Add the Word 'Gooder' to the Webster Dictionary
The Issue
As a person who has grown to appreciate the beauty and flexibility of language, I have always found solace in the idea that words carry more than their assigned meanings. Languages evolve over time, just as we do, and the English language is no exception. The word 'gooder,' though not universally accepted, has been a particularly impactful word in my personal journey. For me, and many others, 'gooder' serves as an innovative term that defines a state of being beyond merely 'good.' The definition of the word 'gooder' means 'better than good.' Taking inspiration from words like 'frindle', which have been introduced culturally and later recognized in dictionaries, I see great potential for the acceptance of 'gooder.' Language etymology is ever-changing and belongs to the people who use it, not solely to the existing reference books. As an example, the Merriam-Webster Dictionary added over 520 words and meanings in September 2020, illustrating that language continues to grow and evolve. We believe that the addition of 'gooder' would be a further testament to the living, breathing entity that is language. We therefore urge the Merriam-Webster Dictionary to consider including 'gooder' in its lexicon, to reflect its growing usage, cultural significance, and potential benefit to language as a means of nuanced expression. Please, sign this petition and support the inclusion of 'gooder' in our shared language.
Because if gooder is real, no longer will I be told "gooder isn't real".
WE NEED GOODER TO BE ADDED TO THE DICTIONARY
