Add Mickey Mouse Roadster Racers Episode 6 to Disney Plus
The Issue
On January 27, 2017, the sixth episode of Mickey Mouse Roadster Racers aired on Disney Junior. It was the first episode to feature two segments set in the Hawaiian Islands with another one aired one year later. On Disney Plus, the episode is now unavailable for unknown reasons while some say that it is due to regional issues.
The first segment, “It’s Wiki Wiki Time” summarizes the Roadster Racers’ relay race against Pete’s Hawaiian cousins. Donald, on the other hand, just wants to have a peaceful Hawaiian vacation, but ends up helping out his friends in various objectives like doing the best hula dance possible and making a chicken dance. In the end, Donald wins the race and spends the rest of his vacation with his friends. The moral of this segment is that even if you want to spend your vacation alone, your friends still want to spend a little fun time with you.
In the second segment, “Happy Hula Helpers!”, Auntie Olina, voiced by Tia Carrere, invites the gang to help put together the decorations for Grandpa Kai’s birthday luau. Meanwhile, Leilani can’t seem to figure out what to give Grandpa Kai for his birthday, so Minnie, Daisy, and Cuckoo-Loca help her out. The girls try to find that special gift, but Leilani tells them that Grandpa Kai has everything he can own. Just when all hope seems lost, Minnie has an idea for a gift: a hula dance on the times Leilani and Grandpa Kai spend together. When the luau day arrives, Minnie’s idea seems to work, and Grandpa Kai seems to enjoy Leilani’s hula dance.
Some content may or may not appear on Disney Plus, but we can only hope that the sixth episode of Mickey Mouse Roadster Racers does so that kids today can experience the Hawaiian humor and life lessons.
