�‍♀️ Footpath update �‍♀️

I spoke to Emma Vulin MP's office this morning. Emma is very interested in this issue and will wait to hear how the Council meeting goes tonight before reaching out to Council to discuss the problem with them. I'll provide her with an update tomorrow and we'll go from there.

I've got notes prepared for tonight's meeting, I'm not sure how much I'll be able to speak (if at all) but I'm ready either way! I've been researching Council's policies particualrly around pedestrian safety and accessibiity for all, and their proposed plans for this area contradict a lot of what's in their policies. So I'll be raising that with them.

I'm also in the process of setting up a site visit with Cr Stephanie Davies, Emma Vulin MP and the GM of Infrastructure and Environment at the Council, to show them in person what the situation is. I'm hoping to have media cover this. If anyone would like to participate in this (particularly if they have physical disabilities or other reasons why this is an issue for them), please let me know.

I'll send out an email tonight/tomorrow, once the Council meeting is concluded. Forgive me if it's tomorrow - I have a 12 week old baby who doesn't always like to work to my schedule!
