Title: Add Dazzler to Marvel Rivals — This Is the Perfect Time (Disco Event + In-Game Teases)

Dear Marvel Rivals Developers,

In the vibrant and ever-evolving world of Marvel Rivals, few characters feel as perfectly suited for inclusion as Dazzler (Alison Blaire) - and the timing could not be better.

With the game currently leaning into a disco-inspired theme/event, and with the community already noticing multiple subtle teases, now is the ideal moment for the Marvel Rivals team to bring Dazzler into the playable roster.


Why Dazzler belongs in Marvel Rivals?

Dazzler is one of Marvel’s most iconic and unique characters: a performer who converts sound into light, using music and stage energy as a source of power. Her identity is built around rhythm, spectacle, and dazzling visuals - everything that naturally fits a stylish, fast-paced team-based action game like Marvel Rivals.

Adding Dazzler would:

• Introduce a fresh and highly requested hero concept
• Expand gameplay variety with light-based abilities (flash effects, beams, projections)
• Deepen the game’s connection with long-time Marvel fans
• Strengthen the event theme with a character who is literally made for it

 

 

The Disco event makes this the perfect time!

The current disco atmosphere/event feels like it was designed for Dazzler. Her arrival during this period would feel organic, exciting, and thematically flawless - a true “moment” for the community. We would love to see her appear as a surprise.

At the same time, we understand that developing a new playable hero is not a simple or fast process. It requires time, balancing, animations, voice work, VFX, and thorough testing. Even if Dazzler can’t arrive immediately, we hope this petition shows strong community interest and encourages the team to consider her for an upcoming season.

No complex lore needed since it’s already teased in-game
Most importantly, Dazzler does not need a heavy lore introduction.

The game has already teased her presence, including a map poster referencing her tour, which provides a simple and believable reason for her to appear: she’s on tour - she arrives, she joins the fight.

 

 

The community has already noticed that Dazzler is being teased in Marvel Rivals through multiple in-game references:

Midtown map poster (concert tour teaser)
On Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown, players can find a poster promoting:
“Dazzler – Light the World – World Tour.”

Star-Lord → Luna Snow (voice interaction)
Star-Lord directly mentions her when talking to another pop star:
“You don’t happen to know Dazzler, do you?”

Star-Lord → Emma Frost (voice interaction)
Star-Lord references Dazzler as a potential concert headliner:
“So, who’s playing? Dazzler? Lila Cheney?”

Deadpool (voice line)
Deadpool references Dazzler as a celebrity:
“I dropped it after a crazy night on Dazzler’s yacht.”

These references show that Dazzler is already present in the Marvel Rivals universe. Teased on maps and in character dialogue and would be a natural, lore-friendly addition to the playable roster.

Additionally, the community has already shown strong creative momentum around Dazzler. There are multiple fan-made Dazzler visualizations/concepts, including impressive work by @Sketchy_Hedgey [1] and @shim0rin [2], presenting ideas for both her visual design and potential abilities in Marvel Rivals. These concepts highlight just how naturally Dazzler’s stage presence, light-based powers and disco aesthetics could translate into the game providing inspiration for her look, VFX style, and a skill kit built around flashes, beams, and performance-driven utility. This fan creativity is a clear sign of how much excitement and demand there is for her within the Marvel Rivals community.

 

 

We respectfully ask the Marvel Rivals developers to:

• Add Dazzler as a playable character in an upcoming update/seasons, (even tho we know Black Cat and White Fox are coming).
• Officially confirm she is planned for the game or not.

Dazzler would be a standout addition with huge fan appeal, incredible visual potential, and strong gameplay possibilities. The community is ready and the timing is perfect.
