Hello gamers,

I am, and have been an active member of the Counter Strike community for a little over 10 years. I vividly remember playing on my family's Dell Inspiron laptop for the first time in a deathmatch game on de_dust2. I will forever cherish those moments; moments where I had no care in the world for my performance, but simply my enjoyment.

Some of my greatest memories in this game were spent with friends- friends who have come and go, and others who are still with me to this day. Nothing will ever compare to the feeling of winning a closely won competitive match with a 5 stack full of beloved compatriots, and being granted with the win screen plastered with our clan name to replace the side we were on. 

Alas, in 2023, those times had come to an end, as all great things do. Clan tags had become a thing of the past, as Counter Strike 2 had come, and Counter Strike: Global Offensive had went. 

I implore you to sign this petition today, and share it with any of your fellow comrades that you still hold close to you, whether you met in real life, or met in the game. Let us urge the powers in charge to do what's right in means of righting some wrongs, and begin a wave of positive change.
