This issue remains unresolved which I believe reflects very poorly on this Club. Most professional organisations recognise they have a responsiblity to LISTEN and RESOLVE in a respectful and amicable manner. I have tried to COMMUNICATE, I have been ignored. I have never been HEARD.
It was communicated to me recently this was supposedly a personal issue. I have repeatedly communicated this issue was infact NEVER personal in any way. I initially received an email from the perpetrator claiming this is a "Club matter".
Indeed I was directed by a Court of Law to direct any issues to this Club. Dogs Victoria tried directing the matter to the Club "for resolution" which has never been achieved.
I resigned as Club Secretary in November 2011. I was then excluded from the club and bullied when attempting to train and trial my dog. This was reported to the Club in June 2012 as I was advised to do. The bullying continued. A hostile response from the perpetrator was immediately received when the letter was lodged. The Club has never replied.
It is now 12 years since I have been able to happily train and trial my dog(s). I do have an email from the perpetrator claiming he "got rid of me" and that he is apparently happy now. I have also been told this person has told Committee I should never be readmitted to the Club. This is clearly not acceptable.
If you wish to send an email to info@adcv.com.au simply stating : "Bullying and exclusion from a not for profit club and dog sports is not acceptable", I would be very grateful. I initially believed this Club would address this issue and I reached out for their help as suggested. I regret this Club has never taken time to even listen to me.
The result is a 12 year loss of time with my dogs which can never be regained plus an inability to happily connect with people in the sport I loved. I want to return, not to instructing or Committee. I simply want to be able to spend time with my dogs and reconnect with people. I would suggest we all should be in a position to do that.
