I am sincerely hoping 2022 will be the year that I receive an apology from the agility dog club of Victoria. To be persistently called a stalker for attempting to happily train my dog is in no way acceptable. Neither is exclusion for a 12 year period.

The behaviour displayed by a group of adults has been both astounding and infact worrying.

I would suggest none of this would have occurred had a letter of complaint that I submitted to the club been taken seriously and handled in accordance with the clubs grievance procedure. Instead of representing the interests of all club members, it seems they chose not to respond. To date, I still haven't received any feedback.

There has been some suggestion by the club that I need to apologise. I was told to speak out and make other people aware how I was being treated. It is unfortunate this club never chose to speak to me and never decided to help in any way. It is also immoral that a woman trying her hardest to happily participate in a sport is unable to receive any help.

Instead of the club assisting, I received emails from the perpetrator claiming people were laughing  at me and calling me names. The former club president told me no one would listen to me as I was allegedly unimportant.

I sincerely would like to be in a position to put 12 years of being treated very badly aside. I just wish to be able to train my dog at this club which is convenient to me and to have my life membership finally recognised. It is about time there was an  end to this matter.
