It has been almost one year since Elijah’s life was taken by Aurora PD. Since then there have been five investigations launched, one lawsuit, and 5 million signatures – and still no justice for Elijah.

Tonight local activists will be projecting this video featuring celebrities like Janelle Monáe, Meagan Good, Jonathan Van Ness and Ben Platt on a building corner in downtown Denver. The video will be screened in an area known as Five Points which has a rich history rooted in Black culture but has been subject to gentrification. It’s also a high traffic neighborhood that’s sure to get people’s attention.

This action sends the message to Attorney General Phil Weiser that enough is enough. It’s time to charge the officers who killed Elijah with murder.
