Thanks to the continued support of residents on Boise Avenue and the surrounding neighborhoods, the speed limit between Holcomb and Eckert will be lowered to 30mph on Friday, May 19th. Later this summer when Boise Avenue is chipsealed additional buffers will be added to bike lanes and street parking. This is a huge step towards making Boise Avenue safer for vehicles and pedestrians. District 1 Commissioner Jim Hansen was instrumental in moving this forward. We hope to see continued pedestrian upgrades to Boise Avenue included in ACHD's five year plan.
