Hello gamers everywhere on all platforms,

I have made this petition to do something to stop this complete and utter madness. Here's the story so far:

Activison are continuing their ongoing display of monopolisation on the gaming community by now locking certain parts of the upcoming 'Modern Warfare' title for Xbox and PC users as they are 'in bed' with Sony and have an exclusive content deal with them.

Essentially this means that, in order to make even more money, Activision exploit this exclusivity by punishing all those who do not own a playstation by making them have to wait for their chance to play it. All with the mindset that theses people will then go out and buy a Sony product. And please bear in mind these people have paid the same as Playstation users for the game. This 'time of exclusivity' is typically a day to a week but now it has become ridiculous - a whole year!

There's also the recent and prime example of this intent in 'Black Ops 4' - hiding in game items (such as weapons, calling cards etc) behind a RNG 'loot box' system. All with the aim for us as consumers to PAY more to just be in with a chance the items we want, some that actually give you an advantage in the game.

A game developer, like Infinity Ward who are making Modern Warfare, are not to blame and spend years in development to create a piece of art that our community will love and enjoy. Then Activision, the people that hold the purse strings take control through their marketing ploys and hunger for money and lust to squeeze the consumer out of every possible piece of cash they can with little no regard for us as people and the wonderful artists that are the developers. Whom, I might add, have built a revolutionary game that has the 'cross play' infrastructure that allows PS, Xbox and PC to play together. In short, the developers are trying to bring us together - Activision looking to divide.

Activision, please, enough is enough now. This blatant segregation is only doing harm to the community and if left unchecked could spiral out of control and we don't want that to happen. We can see it for what it is and it could really backfire fo your intentions to make a profit. Here are some initial proposals:

1. Allow all platforms to have access to content equally. We understand how business works, and the deal you have with Sony. But please do not punish others for this. Allow Xbox and Pc users access to the same content as PS users.

2. Realistic loot box content. Please do not repeat 'Black Ops 4' and hide key items behind a pay wall amongst thousands of pointless other items that no one wants. Loot box systems can work but we do notice with it becomes a blatant act of greed.

Gamers, could find it in yourself to sign this petition and make a change before it's too late!
