I assume you may well aware of activites of Miwanapalane Siridhammalankara, a fake monk also known as Sirisena Haputhanthri of Paramanibbana Ashrama in Meerigama, who creates hawks in Buddhist culture and tradition of Theravada within the period of last few years. 
Many activities and fake theories of Meewanapalanee Siridhammalankara threatened and already starts decaying the Buddhist culture and Tradition which is protected in expense even of their lives by  Buddhist kings and Bhikkus along the thousands of years. Honorable Chief priests of tri sectors of Buddhism in Sri Lanka already in the move to press the sitution by issuing unanimous statement and requesting necessary steps immediately to safe guard Buddhist culture and tradition of Theravada. 

Even though there are well spoken ways by Gauthama Buddha to understand and explain Dhamma and Thripitaka this fake monk declares his own ways claiming he alone knows the ways of true Buddhism which is greatly affect the purity of Theravada Buddhism. I believe now we reached to a point which is mandatory to fulfill the responsibility of the government to stop this fraud once and for all.

Constitution 9 of Constitution of Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka clearly states that President and government held the responsibility of wellbeing and protection of Buddhism which is lack in this issue as I am aware up to now.
Therefore as a responsible government I assume necessary steps will be taken immediately to nullify the threts creates by  Meewanapalanee Siridhammalankara, which will safe guard the future of culture and tradition of Theravada Buddhism in Sri Lanka.
