To all our early signers:   thank you. Your voice matters.

We are seeing a critical flaw play out in Canadian family courts every day.  When protective parents raise valid concerns about domestic violence, they are frequently met with unverified cross-allegations of "parental alienation."  Instead of thoroughly investigating abuse, the court system often penalizes the protective parent, placing children right back into unsafe environments.

Bill C-223 is currently moving through Parliament, but unless we push for an explicit amendment to address how alienation claims are weaponized against abuse survivors, vulnerable children will remain at risk.
