Mae'r datganiad hwn yn galw ar Gyngor Sir Ceredigion (CSC) i gyflawni eu cyfrifoldebau o ran diogelu'r cyhoedd, iechyd a diogelwch, yn ogystal ag o dan Ddeddf Llesiant Cenedlaethau'r Dyfodol, drwy barhau i weithredu'r toiledau cyhoeddus yn Llangrannog. Mae'r datganiad yn tynnu sylw'n benodol at bwysigrwydd ystyried effeithiau hirdymor, atal problemau, a gweithio ar y cyd, fel yr amlinellir yn y Ddeddf.

Dyma ddadansoddiad mwy manwl:

1. Diogelu'r Cyhoedd, Iechyd a Diogelwch:

·      Mae toiledau cyhoeddus yn agwedd sylfaenol ar iechyd a diogelwch y cyhoedd, yn enwedig mewn cyrchfan dwristaidd boblogaidd fel Llangrannog.

·      Gall diffyg mynediad at doiledau cyhoeddus arwain at broblemau hylendid, problemau iechyd a phryderon diogelwch, gan effeithio ar drigolion ac ymwelwyr.

·      Mae gan Gyngor Sir Ceredigion gyfrifoldeb i sicrhau bod cyfleusterau glanweithdra digonol yn cael eu darparu i'r cyhoedd.

2. Deddf Llesiant Cenedlaethau'r Dyfodol:

·      Nod y Ddeddf yw gwella lles economaidd, cymdeithasol, amgylcheddol a diwylliannol Cymru.

·      Mae'n gosod dyletswydd ar gyrff cyhoeddus i weithredu mewn ffordd sy'n diwallu anghenion y presennol heb beryglu gallu cenedlaethau'r dyfodol i ddiwallu eu hanghenion eu hunain.

·      Mae hyn yn cynnwys mabwysiadu dull hirdymor, integredig a chydweithredol, a chynnwys cymunedau amrywiol mewn gwneud penderfyniadau.

·      Drwy sicrhau mynediad at doiledau cyhoeddus, gall Cyngor Sir Ceredigion gyfrannu at lesiant cenedlaethau'r presennol a'r dyfodol yn Llangrannog.

3. Ystyriaethau Penodol ar gyfer Llangrannog:

·      Fel cyrchfan dwristaidd boblogaidd, mae Llangrannog yn profi nifer fawr o ymwelwyr, yn enwedig yn ystod y tymhorau brig.

·      Mae cynnal toiledau cyhoeddus yn hanfodol ar gyfer rheoli effaith ymwelwyr ar yr amgylchedd a'r gymuned leol.

·      Dylai CSC ystyried goblygiadau hirdymor eu penderfyniadau ynghylch darparu toiledau cyhoeddus, gan sicrhau y gall cenedlaethau'r dyfodol hefyd fwynhau'r ardal heb wynebu heriau glanweithdra.

·      Fel traeth baner las - byddai'r pentref yn colli'r statws hwn heb y toiledau.

·      Ni fyddai gwersyll Gwersyll yr Urdd Llangrannog bellach yn gallu ymweld â'r traeth gyda'r miloedd o blant maen nhw'n eu croesawu bob blwyddyn.

This statement calls on Ceredigion County Council (CCC) to fulfill their responsibilities in public protection, health, and safety, as well as under the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act, by continuing to operate the public toilets in Llangrannog. The statement specifically highlights the importance of considering long-term impacts, preventing problems, and working collaboratively, as outlined in the Act. 

1. Public Protection, Health, and Safety:

• Public toilets are a fundamental aspect of public health and safety, particularly in a popular tourist destination like Llangrannog.
• Lack of access to public toilets can lead to hygiene issues, health problems, and safety concerns, impacting both residents and visitors.
• CCC has a responsibility to ensure the provision of adequate sanitation facilities for the public. 

2. Wellbeing of Future Generations Act:

• The Act aims to improve the economic, social, environmental, and cultural well-being of Wales.
• It places a duty on public bodies to act in a way that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
• This includes taking a long-term, integrated, and collaborative approach, and involving diverse communities in decision-making.
• By ensuring access to public toilets, CCC can contribute to the well-being of both present and future generations in Llangrannog. 

3. Specific Considerations for Llangrannog:

• As a popular tourist destination, Llangrannog experiences a high volume of visitors, especially during peak seasons.
• Maintaining public toilets is crucial for managing the impact of visitors on the local environment and community.
• CCC should consider the long-term implications of their decisions regarding public toilet provision, ensuring that future generations can also enjoy the area without facing sanitation challenges.
• The village would lose its Blue Flag status without the toilets.
• Gwersyll yr Urdd Llangrannog camp would no longer be able to visit the beach with the thousands of children they host every year.
